Went to the pediatrician today for Jonathan's 2 week checkup, and everything looks great! He's up to 8 lbs, 1 oz, so he's gained back the weight he lost after birth. So apparently, breastfeeding is going pretty well. I would've been amazed had he not gained weight, because he's been eating like a pig! I thought his face has been looking a little rounder, but we see him everyday, so it's tough to tell.
We were lucky to get about 6 hours sleep last night (not all at once), so we feel pretty good today. He seems to oscillate between being awake and fussy from 2am to 7am and sleeping pretty well through the night. However, like all parents, we've managed to adapt to very little sleep, or at least much less sleep than we used to get. Of course we look forward longingly to the time when we can get a good 6 hour chunk of sleep at once. Ahhhh....
